In a serious crisis or disaster situation, we the Church in the maritime world, have a twofold task. We must cooperate with national and local emergency services, with port authorities, with partner organisations, seafarers’ centres and churches in bringing help. Most importantly we must also ensure that we treat each person involved as an individual human being with individual needs.
The project was conducted with the support of the ITF Seafarers’ Trust.
